It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our former Practice Manager, Ms. Uduak Inyang, who died on December 19, 2025, after a brief illness.
Uduak was a valued member of the Shelze Professional Services family, serving the firm with dedication and distinction for seven years. She joined as an Audit Associate in the Assurance Team and, through hard work, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to excellence, rose steadily through the organisation to the position of Practice Manager.
During her time with us, she successfully completed her ICAN professional examinations, earning the designation of Chartered Accountant โ a milestone that reflected the discipline and intellectual rigour she brought to everything she undertook. As Practice Manager, she contributed significantly to the firm’s operations and to the professional growth of colleagues across the practice.
Beyond her formal responsibilities, Uduak was a cornerstone of the firm’s culture, embodying the values of professionalism, discipline, and collaboration that define Shelze. She was instrumental in supporting the firm’s implementation of the International Standards on Quality Management (ISQM 1 & ISQM 2), helping to strengthen our internal quality management framework and uphold the highest professional standards.
Uduak was a devout Christian, and her faith was evident in her humility, kindness, and the quiet grace with which she carried herself in all aspects of her life.
She will be remembered for her diligence, her calm strength, and the lasting positive influence she had on everyone fortunate enough to work alongside her.
Her passing is a profound loss to the Shelze family.
We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers remain with them.
